Eden Housing Welcomes New Board Member Sean Callum

Sean Callum, Vice President Credit Risk Officer, First Republic Bank, has joined the Eden Housing board of directors. In its 50 years of service, non-profit Eden Housing has provided an affordable home for more than 100,000 people living throughout California. Based in Hayward, Eden currently owns or manages 139 properties, and is committed to preserving and maintaining its buildings to improve communities, while supporting residents with a range of services.

Sean Callum has a 25-year career that spans various disciplines including urban economic development; commercial real estate development, investment, and finance; banking and risk management. Sean has been civically engaged for most of his adult life either as a mentor of young people or through numerous community service projects sponsored by the Rotary Club of Oakland #3 including the development of affordable single family homes as the Rotary Home Building Committee Chair.

Sean has served as a board member of the Oakland Rotary Club #3 and the Oakland Rotary Endowment Board of Trustees. Currently, he is a board member of the Alameda-Oakland Community Action Partnership (AC-OCAP), which is a tripartite administering board charged with allocating community service block grant funds (CSBG) to local organizations fighting the war on poverty. Sean holds a bachelors of Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
