    Volunteer Opportunities with Young People:

Youth programs at Eden Housing are designed to help young people achieve academic and social success and learn valuable skills, allowing them to grow into thriving adults. Some examples of how you can help include:

    After School Program

Our after-school program provides both individual and group support to students ages 5-17. As a volunteer, you can help tutor students individually, coordinate group activities, help out in one of our computer labs, work with our teens or facilitate a special project. Bring your creativity and your desire to work with young people and share your ideas with us.

    Summer Fun

As part of our summer program, you can plan and lead summer activities for resident children. If you are interested please contact us, we’d love to hear from you.

    Volunteer Opportunities with Adults:

Our programs for adults are designed to provide access to valuable community resources, develop skills and build community. Some examples of how you can help include:

One-time or on-going workshops on a topic of interest (money management, exercise, nutrition, etc. — share your ideas with us).

Teach basic computer skills to residents. If you know Windows, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Publisher, or other products and have computer skills, this is the opportunity for you!

    Volunteer Opportunities with Older Adults:

Our goal with our seniors and people with special needs is to help our residents age in place and live independently in a safe and healthy environment. Examples of ways you can help are:

Facilitate classes — exercise, nutrition, ESL, arts and crafts, etc.
